Globex was started by Edward Scholten in 2004 as a tooling design service. Ed saw there was also a need for on-tap mechanical design expertise and soon found himself working on everything from medical devices to consumer electronics and robotic exo-skeletons.

Ed's aspiration to continually provide a better service quickly found him adding employees. Globex has since grown organically from there into the product engineering consultancy it is today. We are made up of a multi-talented team from diverse backgrounds. Our people are the key to our success, and many of Globex's original employees are still with us to this day, and our team continues to grow.

Over the years Globex has been involved in thousands of different projects, delivering unique design solutions in a diverse range of industries. Each project presents new challenges and new learnings, adding to our ever-growing expertise. Our aim is to form long-lasting partnerships with our clients, as we understand that when they succeed, we succeed.
